Define the exact information that you wish to import to the sales order. Avanti has created an interface that allows the import of information from a third-party order entry system (i.e. web-to-print, mainframe, etc.) via XML or JDF file formats to automatically create a sales order in the Avanti Slingshot production system. As the order proceeds through the production and/or fulfillment process, job status information is communicated back to the third-party system by Avanti Slingshot, so that it is accessible to your customer. The two-way communication between systems is completely seamless and requires no intervention.
